Congratulations, Class XXI!
Thank you to Governor DeSantis for your continued support of the Fellows Program. Thank you as well to the families, agency heads, board members, alumni, and all who joined us to recognize this outstanding group last week at the Governor’s Mansion.
This morning, I had the opportunity to meet with the Florida Gubernatorial Fellows Class of XXI and share my career path in public health and thoughts about leadership.
They are quite a bright and promising group. Florida is the place to be!
The Fellows had an incredible experience during their federal relations policy trip to Washington, DC. We’re grateful to all the public officials and their teams who made this opportunity possible. An unforgettable experience for Class XXI!
Thank you to Secretary of State Cord Byrd for taking the time to meet with Class XXI. It was great to hear more about his work to keep our elections secure, preserve Florida’s rich history, and encourage a prosperous business environment.
Class XXI had the opportunity to meet with members of @FLSERT’s executive staff and participate in a tour of the new State Emergency Operations Center.

Thank you to @MyFWC Executive Director Roger Young for meeting with Class XXI. Director Young gave an overview of the work FWC does to protect and manage Florida’s wildlife and natural habitats. We appreciate his leadership and the opportunity to learn more about the agency.
Secretary of State @CordByrd was joined by Department of State Gubernatorial Fellow Alexa Kays during a recent House Government Operations Subcommittee hearing listening to debate on an election integrity bill. Alexa works with the Department’s General Counsel providing valuable assistance to all Department of State program areas. @FloridaFellows
Class XXI had the pleasure of meeting with Fellow alum and State Representative Gallop Franklin. The Representative offered thoughtful reflections on his Fellowship experience, shared insights from his journey to the State House, and discussed his work and impact as a legislator.
Class XXI had the honor of meeting with Secretary Matt Walsh of the @fladjj. We appreciate the Secretary taking time to share about the agency's critical work advancing public safety and serving youth, families, and communities across Florida.

It was a privilege to hear from Secretary Michelle Branham of @elderaffairs this morning. She shared with Class XXI about the work DOEA is doing to ensure all Floridians live well and age well. Thank you, Secretary Branham, for your leadership!
