The World offers two different images of masculinity, & both are broken.

First: Manhood is presented as Control. Superiority. Dominance. A man who leads by force demanding submission, & claims complete authority. He is accountable to no one, & is driven by self-gain, status, which becomes self worship.

The Second: Aggression. Harsh behavior that’s labeled as primal or “alpha”. Emotional control & self control are “beta”. Women are beneath, are stupid & inferior.

Both of these is where you find the term “toxic masculinity” & Satan likes to then use it as a way to sow more division among mankind. To paint the image of men created by God flawed, & needing to be changed.

Nether one of these are how God designed Men to be. Neither of these are healthy. Both of these ways the powers of darkness will use to control men, & sell the false illusion that the man is still in control.

Both of these attitudes lead to the destruction of a Man’s soul. But there is hope in Jesus🙌🏻💖.

We always seem to hear about the Proverbs 31 Woman, but what about a Proverbs 16 Man?

“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, & He will establish your plans. The Lord works out everything to its proper end-even the wicked for the day of disaster.” (vs 3-4)

“Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall. Better to be lowly in spirit along with the oppressed than to share plunder with the proud.” (vs 18-19)

“Whoever gives heed to instruction prospers, and blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord.
The wise in heart are called discerning, and gracious words promote instruction.” (vs 20-21)

Gentlemen, if you still are with me- will you take some time today to Read Proverbs 16? I know you are carrying a lot. The dark powers that be constantly are wanting to attack your mind day in and day out . Will you fully trust God with your mind today?
