@TheFoxipso I'm pretty sure the reason this happens is that the modern steamvr ui is built on the web rendering engine that the steam client uses, however if that isn't available for whatever reason (i.e. it crashes or steam isn't running with steamvr) it falls back to the old design

Also every "comparable" pre build/parts list I see usually either is massively compensating on something, or is not taking into account the small form factor which does add to the cost.

@gilga10 The issue is that probably is doing a lot of carrying. There is a chance that not only may a user not use steam, they could also not use steamos at all, and thus there would be no profit later down the line. Albeit slim chances but ones that can quickly add up
