@SophyRidgeSky I hope I’m not missing something here but if the blocks have to be at device level then surely that means the block will need to be activated/deactivated by the user so is he really putting this in the hands of parents etc? I may be misunderstanding “device level”.
@TalkTV@SarahForRuncorn@mrmarkdolan So someone who steals a £2.50 sandwich goes to prison costing the taxpayer approximately £130.00 per day (google search). I suspect this won’t happen very often, thankfully.
@PolitlcsUK@kateferguson4 So in essence someone with even less financial experience and qualifications than Rachel Reeves…sounds very much like Andy has the same amount of common sense when employing people as our current PM.
@Ewan_McF@PolitlcsUK I ran a very small and modest business for 10 years after being made redundant. Now retired. I had 3 employees, I can assure you that not one of them ever earned me anything even remotely close to £1k for every £100 they earned.
@MasterKC5@PolitlcsUK You have a point, I didn’t think about student loans but that would need dividing out over a lifetime and not 1 year so its impact would be lessened. I’m sure there are other factors but even so each young person costing £125k per year seems very exaggerated to my mind.
@zyonuk@PolitlcsUK I was saying £50k benefits as an exaggeration when even that amount would still leave £75k unaccounted for. Someone has mentioned unpaid student loans which I didn’t allow for though. But I still think £125k is still excessive.
@triffic_stuff_ There seems to be an assumption here that MPs would make better decisions if they hadn’t had any alcohol prior to voting…I would argue that there is very little evidence to support that view and therefore it may not actually matter.
@ITVNewsPolitics@itvnews It may be possible that my memory is playing tricks on me but didn’t he do exactly the same thing to firstly become leader and then again to win the general election…oh well, third time’s a charm (probably not).

@benonwine Of course; MPs should be able to unwind like the rest of us so long as they face exactly the same consequences for any resulting actions and NOT be protected because of their status. This, of course, should be the case for incompetence & bad behaviour, just like the rest of us.
@SnapBlastPLAY This version of FM is a classic example of form over function with ever decreasing gameplay it’s no wonder that multiplayer is as dull as dishwater with empty lobbies on a rinse & repeat cycle. I hold very few hopes of a new version but it surely couldn’t be worse if we get one.
@PolitlcsUK@TheSun I’m not normally in favour of rewards for “doing the right thing” but the person who found this bag and called it in should never have to pay any tax of any sort for the rest of their life. Just imagine the potential carnage if found by the wrong person.
@BBCNews Personally I think existing police powers should stay with the police and give them the resources to enforce said laws. That said if this proposal actually reduces fly tipping I guess it should be welcomed…NOW DO THE WATER COMPANIES!
@LilianGreenwood After voting to reduce trial by jury please be extra careful you don’t break the law won’t you…such as using a mobile phone inappropriately.
