To all the men on the internet commenting under posts about male violence against women - saying that men are more likely to be victims of violence, you are absolutely correct.
Men are much more likely to be murdered than women.
Men are much more likely to be assaulted than women.
Men are much more likely to be mugged than women.
Men are much more likely to be attacked in bars and clubs than women.
1 in 20 men are sexually abused in childhood.
And guess who 97-99% of the suspects are in those crimes?
Other men and boys.
And so, I return you to the original point about MALE VIOLENCE.
Male violence is the issue. Women and girls are absolutely capable of the same levels of violence and abuse as men and boys, and yet, they don’t commit it.
So let’s focus on the point, which is male violence, and as you quite rightly point out, is also seriously impacting yourselves.
For the game tonight, we have extra staff out tonight in our DVA car service with @HantsPolice
If you are being subjected to domestic abuse and are in danger please call the police on 999.
If you want independent support call us from 6pm on 02394 216 816

@Dturner300 What an inspiring and thought provoking day with humour and a mighty dose of reflection to ponder on over the coming days and weeks - thank you so much 😊
@PaulCBrunson There are quite a few things, but one simple one would be to explore what are the qualities, traits etc in Jess he is so drawn to and make sure he looks and asks for those in his future dates
Winter can trigger feelings of sadness and fatigue as we experience shorter days and colder nights.
UKCP psychotherapists @fejrobinson and Julie Dearden offer advice in their blog about coping with the winter months. Find it here: https://t.co/fNnat2sURb #WinterBlues
@samaritans@WestBerksPH I wonder how many years that equals volunteer time ? 🙏🏻 huge congrats - it was such a privilege to be a listener, one day I hope to return 🙏🏻👌
When we don't talk about child sexual abuse, who are we really protecting? The taboo only ever serves the abusers. We need to break the secrecy, silence and stigma: it's the abusers' shame, not ours. More: https://t.co/KQntKFnvqr

@MartinSLewis@bbc5live Jacket potatoes- cook more than you need and chop rest up to go in omlettes or salads - start in mircrowave, finish in oven, and optimise the oven going on by cooking other things that can be used in other dishes
We can be so ashamed of anger, feeling there is something wrong with us for being angry, and so stuffing it down. But often it's a natural response, and serves a purpose in relationships.

@Channel4 in celebrity detox you have ‘Julia’, a ‘licenced therapist’, since we don’t licence therapists in the Uk can you explain this as it could be very misleading? #celebsdetox
