Focused on organising the Spanish foreign language teaching sector towards equitable work conditions & autonomy. #BASTA#RightToTeachWithDignity IG: FLTM_SPAIN
Was a pleasure to spend a week in #Berlin learning about a very exciting movement of riders in the city. Something special going on there. GEP will be publishing more articles & podcasts about what we found in the coming week.

BREAKING: Starbucks workers win their first union in Texas, 10-1.
The overwhelming victory at Austin's 45th & Lamar store means that @SBWorkersUnited has now formed unions in 27 states.
Ten additional Starbucks stores in Texas have filed for union elections.
NEW: Starbucks is firing union leaders during elections for increasingly preposterous reasons.
One union leader was fired for showing up to work too early. Another was terminated after her co-worker refused to return from lunch.
The reasons only get more absurd from there.

@Yolanda_Diaz_@Fundae_es@empleogob@Haciendagob lo que no consigo entender es esto? How can you be listed a travel agency, Business English & Tech and an English academy? How is this legal? https://t.co/qrYakK2zl8

There is an #IBEX35 business located in #LasTablas who is willing to pay a professional teacher 14,35 euros GROSS without any additional travel pay or travel cost compensation. 20 euros for autonomos. I am 100% certain they are using their own laptops, materials, etc.
@Yolanda_Diaz_@Fundae_es@empleogob So, what is the difference between an autonomo and a contract worker? Almost 0 except pay. However, regardless of where you live, it is going to take you 35 minutes to travel there to teach which is not compensated.
