But... if you're on that subject. Then yes. The members of the U.S. Republican National Committee are often US Citizens. The word "Republic" is used out side the US, but is doesn't always mean conservative governance.

And again in July last last year in Milwaukee. I think that's the one everyone remembers. I only know of the RNC event that happened in Milwaukee.

I know too many transpeople that would be an example of there being no connection.
