@LilNasX Hey there, I don’t need it, but if schools close in Genesee County, MI (which seems probable,) my high school babies in the greater Flint area really need it. Signed- a worried high school teacher. $JourdenArmstrong

@static_ctrl Indeed. Straw man arguments rarely create productive discourse- they just seek to alienate.

[Ms. Armstrong @FlushingCreativ]

@static_ctrl I know, and I’m totally backing you up on that. Twitter can be a horrible place sometimes. You do what makes you comfortable and don’t worry about the haters. ❤️

[Ms. Armstrong @FlushingCreativ]

@static_ctrl And I don’t think that makes you transphobic, BTW. ❤️

[Ms. Armstrong @FlushingCreativ]

@static_ctrl Sexuality and gender aren’t the same thing. Saying you’re only attracted to cis people would have been more than an adequate response.

Teacher friends — I’ve been inspired by the generosity and initiative of @annbradenbooks, and I want every kid to have a book to read this summer. If you need books to give your students at the end of the year, RT/comment, and I will randomly select someone to receive this stack.

[Jarrett Lerner @Jarrett_Lerner]

Teachers of older kids/YA-readers — here’s another stack. If you are looking for books to give your students at the end of the school year to make sure they have something to read over the summer, and could use these, RT this tweet and I will randomly select a winner this week.

@am_canterbury Peaky Blinders is amazing and totally binge worthy! I also really enjoyed Mindhunter if you like true crime. The OA is weird, but in an entertaining and hypnotic sort of way.

5 years ago, I was shot in an attempt to stop me from speaking out for girls' education. Today, I attend my first lectures at Oxford.
