@FightWithMemes its the opposite. the amperage of two car batteries in series is enough to weld steel. its the voltage thats too low to go through the skin to make the connection. car battery could easily fuck you up if your resistance wasnt too high for it to play.
"Miners" of today are not miners they are hashmonkeys. they follow value. their product is not bitcoin it is hashrate. the pools are also not miners they are hashbuyers. Miners are nodes plus intentional template creation. Bitcoin has almost no miners left.
But the hashmonkeys and the pools will follow value. And there is no value in a worse shitcoin hosting platform than the existing ones, so corecoin doesnt actually have value, and therefore will not get hashrate. It might temporarily until all of the hashmonkeys and buyers and exchanges realize they are mining/trading fake bitcoin, but the market will correct them brutally.
@StealthQE4 There is no such thing as lowering prices. The prices must always go up, the money is fake debt slavery tickets and the entities collecting all of the money must collect more or the game ends.
Stupid people thinking spammers "running out of money" means spam on bitcoin can never be a long term problem don't understand what Fiat Money is and the true nature of the problem Bitcoin solves.
In the Fiat Money system, the supply of money is INFINITE. That means that any attacker can be supplied with an infinite amount of money long before the effects of that money in the economy cause hyperinflation.
Spammers with their infantile "Use Cases" will continue to come in waves as gullible nincompoops fund them with millions of VC dollars; you will never be rid of stupid people, bitcoin Patrician, so this problem wiil never end barring a technical solution.
There is more than enough money to permanently cripple bitcoin long before a hyperinflation event would be triggered by weaponizing the money supply against bitcoin.
Bitcoin being exposed to an attack like this CANNOT SURVIVE without a technical measure to make spam impossible.
The problem here is the complete mind blind incapability of these broken people to understand the true scope and nature of the Fiat Money problem. They're thinking in a manner that assumes the fiat money supply is finite or in some way limited.
They are not smart. AT ALL.
And finally...the fact that the money supply is infinite was the reason bitcoin was written in the first place. The Spam / Ordinals problem and the fiat money problem are two aspects of the same problem!
I am thrilled to announce that BIP-110 has been included in the latest official release of @BitcoinKnots!
It is now no longer necessary to run my standalone BIP-110 fork in order to be fully secure when BIP-110 activates.
Special thanks to @LukeDashjr for all his hard work.
If Bitcoin users weren't able to decide what Bitcoin is and had to "adjust" to the roadmap of a bunch of developers, it follows that Bitcoin would not be a decentralized network.
GN.
I guess in a more serious sense, Stratum hash is not real hash at all as it serves no purpose of either decentralizing the network or preventing 51% attacks. Stratum adoption % is a metric of systemic rot, centralization, security vulnerability, and asset immaturity.
Bitcoin mining is an incentive system in which the people who are contributing hardware or who own a controlling interest in the time of that hardware are able to dictate the construction of blocks, signaling (or nonsignaling).
If there is a miner who doesnt care about constructing blocks or signaling he should resell his hashrate to the market so that bitcoin can do what it is intended to do. Some people just want to make decisions for their own farm and thats ok, but they dont need to make decisions for everyone else if they can instead get paid extra to let someone else make those decisions.
If that same miner decides that the people he keeps selling his hashrate to are making decisions that he disagrees with then he can stop selling to the market and construct his own block templates to solve that problem.
A bitcoin where every hash's templating power is owned by someone who is using it with intent is a far more fault tolerant system, and therefore a far more valuable product, and therefore more profitable for the miner even in the case that he doesnt make those decisions himself.
@CultOfAshleyPro@Itsfoss Please make explorer.exe stop freezing. I just want to use the software that they wont let me use on linux. Why is my windows incapable of browsing files as well as a computer from 1995? Also why do you have 99 flags in your name?
Where is the code for explorer so we can fix it?
