Operating systems handle old software in three distinct ways:

Apple (macOS) focuses on the future. They delete old code to keep systems fast and secure.

If your app is old, it will likely stop working. This keeps the computer "clean" but forces you to update constantly.

Microsoft (Windows) focuses on continuity. They build "layers" into Windows so that apps from 20 years ago still run today.

This is why big businesses love Windows, they don't have to rewrite their old software.

Linux focuses on efficiency. It uses simple tools that were designed so well decades ago that they never need to change.

They are "timeless" tools that work the same way today as they did in the 1970s.

Apple moves forward by cutting the past, Windows carries the past with it, and Linux builds things that never go out of style.

Breaking: Microsoft confirms Remote Code Execution Vulnerability in Windows 11's Notepad app.

Microsoft upgraded classic Notepad on Windows 11 with modern features, including Copilot and Markdown support.

But now, Microsoft says an attacker could trick a user into clicking a malicious link inside a Markdown file opened in Notepad, causing the app to launch unverified protocols that load and execute remote files.

"The malicious code would execute in the security context of the user who opened the Markdown file, giving the attacker the same permissions as that user," the company warned.

Notepad's important security fixes are rolling out with Windows 11 February 2026 Patch Tuesday updates.

Something unusual appears to be going on today at RAF Fairford near Gloucestershire in the United Kingdom, with at least 10 C-17A Globemaster IIIs with the U.S. Air Force arriving at the base or currently crossing the Atlantic from the United States. Almost all of the C-17s appear to be out of either Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah, Georgia, the home of the 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment and the 3rd Battalion, 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR); or Campbell Army Airfield in Kentucky, which houses the 101st Airborne Division and the 1st/2nd Battalions of the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR).

Her resilience in the face of immense adversity—the threats to her life, financial ruin, and public shaming—inspired us all. Her courage brought this case to a monumental turning point, and her testimony exposed the lurid secrets of a global sex trafficking network. In doing so, she brought down a prince, and paved the way for us to come forward and fight. Virginia was failed over and over by the systems that consistently believed and supported her abusers over her. Today, we urge you not to fail another survivor and deny them justice any longer.

Embody Virginia’s courage. Be brave and stand for her, in her absence. Vote YES on the Epstein Files Transparency Act. Vote for justice, accountability, and the truth.
