@ZBerm I don’t understand why the Eagles (Hurts) failed so badly to get him involved in the offense on a consistent basis last year. That was the catalyst for him wanting out, right? Still makes utterly no sense that they could not figure out a way. Brown was right to get out.
@JeffKerrPHL@Con_Kilgarriff The lineup is lazy. They take advantage of their starters - “don’t have to do shit tonight, it’s a long season. Maybe someone will hit a solo shot.” This is not new. So sick of this stale brainless roster.
@ScottLauber The at-bats in the bottom of the 9th by Turner and Harper were utterly pathetic. Totally uncompetitive, just getting the night over with. Entire offense is lazy, taking advantage of Sanchez.

@dsilver88 Well put. I also am concerned about what exactly the organization is doing/not doing to put him in the best position to succeed. A two-way street for sure but I’m not gonna accept another “this guy just doesn’t get it/doesn’t wanna play for us” excuse from the Flyers on this one.

@erikbond The Flyers have failed either way you look at it with him: if he’s literally as awful as Tocchet says he is then they made another bust draft pick OR they have failed to develop and put him in the best position to maximize his talent. Pick one - the organization failed either way
@Brodes81@SportsRadioWIP This was not “this team just needs to learn how to win in the playoffs.” No, this is a case of a clear talent deficiency in multiple critical areas that eventually got exposed. And they have likely no way of addressing those areas because of how they decided to build the roster.
@avappleyard A two way street but the Flyers as an organization have done an awful job of integrating and maximizing him as a core fundamental player for this team moving forward.
@SportsRadioWIP Stems from a defense-first mentality repeatedly hammered into them by coaches. The team has not been very talented so the default is to play prevent hockey to stay competitive. That causes collateral issues that impact players ability to shift away from that when up a man or two.
@s__carson Had a powerplay with 7 minutes remaining and Michkov watched the entire thing, all while Coots was on the ice and Toc rolled out a two-defenseman powerplay. Absolutely pathetic stuff
@WeintraubCole@mgatti21 Good on Don standing up for his player. He has to. But nobody will forget. He should have been traded literally over 2 years ago. Front office should have to answer every single question on him.
