Usually. Fog is super common if it’s humid in the cabin and the AC is blowing good and cold. Heck, ours will spit ice crystals at you.
Smoke… you shouldn’t get smoke. But I’ve seen it where the de-ice guy sprayed glycol into the environmental air intake and when you turn on the system you get a nice puff of what is essentially stage smoke into the cabin. The jet I fly now, our procedure should prevent that from happening.
@RonaldVennell@Aeroengineer1@Delta@flyLAXairport It boggles the mind of people whose only experience is car engines that aren’t supposed to leak oil that airplane engines- even jet engine -are expected to leak a little oil, somewhere. Sometimes so much so that if they stop leaking it’s cause for alarm!
Good ol’ Flower Aviation, in Pueblo CO and Salina KS- the line personnel were girls in swimsuits and you’d get steaks or a bottle of wine for every 100 gallons of Jet-A bought. They’re gone now, but good times while it lasted.
There was also this place in Mississippi that had a rattlesnake in an aquarium…
@TheHitMan1776@messedupfoods Man, I wish I only worked a 2-3 hour shift. The restaurant I worked at, I showed up at 3:30pm and didn’t walk out til 1am. I typically worked 4 tables at a time and turned them in about an hour.
Two things worth mentioning: The picture you paint of boomers is excessively positive. So many lost everything in the 80’s recession. They dealt with interest rates we can’t even fathom, and many struggle financially to this day. The picture you paint of Millennials is excessively bleak. I know so many who are making it- a home, children, they are building a life despite some crazy times of their own.
