@poppy_haze @SkywardFM Of course, it's easy to talk and hard to actually implement it, but what I'd like to see - assuming the aircraft's flight direction is truly hard coded to the engine - is to have a toggleable option on the prop engines for "push" and "pull" orientations.

@raviar_dcs @SkywardFM Yes, it isn't realistic - but it's the best we can do with the DCS Mission Editor tools currently available. As explained in the article, we have a hard limit on the sizes of explosions.

The downside of drawing as a hobby in your spare time is that sometimes you simply don't have any. This is the first thing I've drawn in over a year - and you can consider this a teaser of sorts for a project I'm working on, if university allows... Who here likes Skyhawks?

@BeastmasterArt @Gsh_60_1 What's interesting is that the F-5 is actually a wildly successful aircraft, used by dozens of countries around the world, just not so much by the US. It's one of my favorite fighters, and I definitely love seeing more art of it. It deserves more love.

As some of you have probably guessed, I really like the F-5E. So I decided to draw a pair of them in a bunch of paint schemes - hope you guys like them!
1 - Brazilian AF 1/14th Sq, "Aggressor"
2 - FAB 1/14th Sq, "Ghost Grey"
3 - 2, with late anti-glare panel
4 - Swiss AF 19th Sq

@superflanker272 @HazelPiney The FAB looked into buying J-7s back in the day, but ended up buying a second batch of F-5Es instead. Even though they were ex-USAF Aggressor airframes (and thus flown to high stress), they're still going strong to this day with the 1/14th Fighter Group.

As for the Swiss bird - this is one of their earliest F-5s, hence the "pointy" nose and black radome.

Pampa 57 and 59 there are IMO the prettiest birds to ever fly with the Brazilian Air Force, back when they still wore that blue scheme, a leftover from their previous days as USAF Aggressors. Sadly, finding pictures of them is pretty hard, and I had to do some guesswork.
