I just meant that it's ironic that the super patriotic American guy would make his little symbol the national animal of a country you're in a bit of a soft cold war with.

@patriotthepanda @DiscussingFilm Firstly, the animators would have to work crunch time to redo this, when it's not even their fault lmao. It's okay for there to sometimes be a shit film out there, please let those poor sweet nerds see sunlight.
Secondly, isn't the Panda like THE national symbol for China?

@tio_fer @Hush_Kit I mean mostly because supersonic airliners are a questionable idea. It's not that it physically could not break the sound barrier over land- just that Sonic booms are really really loud, can damage structures, and even spontaneously kill some animals like turkeys.

@tio_fer @Hush_Kit Well I mean I wouldn't call it a step back necessarily- it was very inefficient at subsonic speeds, and could not go supersonic over land at all (or a good radius from land). On paper it was brilliant, but down to brass tacks, it had a lot of problems.

@SF_England And I can't say how much my loan will be (or even if I'm getting a loan at this point) until pigs fly and hell freezes over. Maybe I can leverage my Mental Health to get some kind of PIP somewhere, but unless one of my thousands of job applications finally gets answered

@SF_England All of these unnecessary hoops. I have currently no source of income, and thanks to this, I won't for the forseeable future. Just. Awful. I have called and called and called and spoken to so many automated chatbots and robo caller things. Just I am tearing my hair out here.

@0hMySt4rs Smoke machine vapour is kinda similar to a burning marshmallow smell with a little whiff of fresh fish- release agent is just a very plasticky synthetic smell
