Why is our industry so hard on newcomers, new apps, and new ideas? New things are hard to introduce, hard to communicate and never perfect. Why can’t we encourage these creative seeds and applaud their entry into our world?
Our Kick-off event is this Friday, February 19th, at 1PM PST.
Cohosted with @ux_edtech, there will be some classroom show & tell with @miggi and we will be doing an in-file activity together!
Join us!

Facebook and @RobinhoodApp are the same:
They both trick you into thinking you are the customer. But, in fact, you are the product and your data is the asset.
These assets are then sold to their true customers who pay them money and always at your expense.
STOP BEING TRICKED!
Bleak bleak prediction from German virologist @c_drosten. For all the terrible mistakes that we’ve made with Covid-19, it’s possible that even more terrible mistakes are to come
Three truths:
1. Some tech companies have been making decisions that are detrimental to society.
2. The design community needs advocates for ethical behavior.
3. Judging and attacking designers affiliated with companies you disapprove of hurts much more than it helps.
