@slurcat @reddit_lies Btw i think we also got 1 or 2 of our 4 caribbean islands, and to add to it it was one of the best trades we ever did because the trade and farmlands we got in south america made is an incredible amount of money back then. While new york was more of burden on our economy.

@slurcat @reddit_lies No we sold the area to the british, since it was very difficult to maintain and control with the british everywhere around it. It was in exchange for multiple british colonies(part of suriname i think) in south america which for us was one of the best trades we ever made!
