@Eric_Erins Ha, assuming you're joking, but it would probably make more sense in the old Parsons spot than the Thai restaurant -- still very curious how that will play out.
The @WSOP final table is set, and joining me on LOW ROLLERS this week, fresh off another deep Main Event run, is 2004 champ @FossilMan Greg Raymer! We talk next month's final table, the WSOP instituting a shot clock, the overall health of poker, and more:

@abs_sweetmarie Yeah, like Van Morrison, great artist, kind of revealed to be a piece of shit. Still think The Fisher King should get more underrated masterpiece mentions. And 12 Monkeys one of the best modern sci-fis. It's a bummer.
@ZeroSuitCamus@staticbluebat@ExileGrimm I get same year, genre, British directors, but I wouldn't pit the two: Psycho is much more a style exercise that doesn't (imo) plumb the emotional depths of Hitch's best work - Peeping Tom really goes wild on the visceral fetishization of violent voyeurism, hits harder for sure
@jfkenney@staticbluebat Sweet Hereafter though I absolutely love. Exotica is more unique and creative, Hereafter maybe more polished and straightforward, I think both have a pretty tremendous emotional impact and demonstrate Egoyan at the height of his powers.
@jfkenney@staticbluebat Agreed, Felicia's I went in with really high hopes and just didn't do much for me. Adjuster is good - Koteas always delivers. Watched Egoyan's "Remember" recently -- solid octogenarian Landau and Plummer performances, well made and watchable enough but nothing too inspired
@DrDoctavious He and Red94 should be committed to a mental institution. Just non-stop whining and negativity.
Pretty sure that same dude spent years bemoaning not giving Silas (one of the worst coaches in NBA history) a fair shake.
@jfkenney@staticbluebat Maybe not your cup of tea, but The Sweet Hereafter is an incredible film with some cast overlap from Exotica. After those two, yeah, fairly disappointing career imo. He’s had a few others that are okay to decent, but nothing on that level.
We're making this one available to all because, well, it should be. Please take 15 minutes out of your morning to read this fantastic investigative piece from our @WilliamDettloff: https://t.co/Qf2edkvbC0
@jfkenney Haven’t seen anything recent but Louis was very funny. I’m all for shitting on hack comics especially those who went anti-woke and suck up to Trump but while obviously he sucks personally, his stand up was pretty huge prior to his “cancellation”.
@haydenandsons@NBABabySecret I’m a fan of Sam’s stuff but just seemed like an unnecessary dig. Apologize/withdrawn. Believe me, I hate Rockets fans more than you guys and I am one.
@haydenandsons@NBABabySecret Aside from the preposterous Garza stuff: a) this was never close to happening b) 23 yr old Sengun making 35M would be an infinitely better return than washed Paul George making 60M and c) no need to slander Sengun bc your team made one of the dumbest trades of the decade.
@jaycaspiankang Yeah a lot of "he was actually sneaky good last year" -- he played 37 games. Averaged 17-5-3 and shot well from three but averaged 14 pts a game on 40% shooting getting swept by Knicks. Makes almost 60 million dollars next two seasons and you traded your finals MVP for him.
@velodus Completely unnecessary to get to this point - maybe we don’t know whole story but once Giannis stuff was out there, you go all in - Brown and whoever they want. This return was horrendous. They got out of paying his salary 3,4,5 seasons from now. Thats about it
@NBABabySecret KD for all his flaws (mostly off court) was 10x the player PG was last season. Stunning - sorry man, can’t see any positive spin here except you’ll be off the contract in 2 years I guess. Maybe preferable to having to talk yourself into Brandon Ingram though.
