Are the Xanthomonas translucens pv undulosa (Xtu) strains affecting Nebraska wheat genetically similar, or are different strain populations circulating within the State? To learn more about this, please join me today from 3:45 to 4:30 PM at #PlantHealth2026, Poster 017.
Honored to receive a Student Travel Award from APS Foundation to attend the #PlantHealth2026! Grateful for the opportunity to connect with researchers, share my work on bacterial leaf streak of wheat, and continue growing as a Plant Pathologist. Thank you Prof. S.N. Wegulo #UNL
If you are attending #planthealth2025, I would be glad if you could stop by my poster, (number 137), today between 3:45 and 4:30 PM. I will be presenting on the crop loss assessment concerning winter wheat in Nebraska. #wheatpathologylab#Wegulolab#UNL
After a busy summer dedicated to fieldwork, survey, lab hours and late night of reading, writing and data analysis, I'm heading to #APSPLANTHEALTH2025 in Honolulu Hawaii to learn, connect, and share what we've uncovered about bacterial leaf streak in wheat! π€π΄π¬π #PlantHealth
I'm currently in the field collecting symptomatic samples of bacterial leaf streak in wheat. This is the second year of the survey, and we've successfully isolated BLS and other pathogens.πΎπ
I came across stripe rust, Leaf rust, FHB and others. #UNLPLANTPATHOLOGY#WHEAT2025BLS

Last week, I had the pleasure of presenting my research on Aegilops longissima and winter wheat resistance to bacterial leaf streak to the UNL plant pathology department and the wider community. The Q&A session was engaging and insightful from a diverse audience. #motivated!
This week, @FombaJanis gave a brilliant seminar on Aegilops longissima and winter wheat resistance to bacterial leaf streak. From field surveys to genomic insights, her research blends pathology and precision to tackle yield loss in πΎ. Stay tuned for more updates soon! #seminars
#PlantHealth2024. Many thanks to the APS Foundation @plantdisease and Early Career Professional Committee for this year's Schroth Faces of the Future Symposium. Looking forward to learning from all. More: abstracts:Β https://t.co/fBY7544tCl @TLowePower @MorganCarterPhD
