@PeterAlanRoss Came across your Scotsman article on pipe smoking from 2011 while planning a spring trip to Scotland and researching tobacconists. You nailed so much of what it means to be a pipe smoker in one go! Did you end up picking up the hobby after the piece?
My dad used these vintage Atlas Sound mic stands in his Jersey Shore rock bands in the 1960s and 1970s, and stored them in a crawl space for nearly half a century. It took a lot of work to get them back into service! Full restoration photos on IG: https://t.co/0cJjZvAo4n
As mid-career musicians, what we're really aiming for in The Lights Out are songs our loved ones want to see performed live and hear on a record: not just songs they politely see/hear out of obligation. That is a legitimately high bar that keeps us working hard 20 years later!

This is especially meaningful because it comes from peers: the people with an expert perspective on your work. Thank you to my peers in @PRSABoston for including me in this circle of dedicated professionals.

We wanted our deck to feel like a place you’d buy an overpriced hamburger and choose between 30 different IPAs on tap. In short, cozy. Up top, the priority was vibes. Down below, it was utility so I wouldn't break my neck loading guitars and amps in the dark.
My dad always displayed the Bennington flag on the house where I grew up. He thought it was the coolest-looking flag. Libby and I are continuing the tradition by displaying the same flag on our home. This morning we woke up to a photo of my dad, and replied in kind. Happy 4th!
