A new project from the Nutrient Density Initiative and Edacious is beginning to measure exactly that. Early findings suggest regeneratively-produced foods may contain more protein, healthier fat profiles, and fewer heavy metals compared to conventional samples.

Matt Ryan is the co-founder of Aquna Sustainable Murray Cod., an Australian farmer-turned-aquaculture pioneer who helped bring the native Murray cod back to Australian tables through a green-rated farming system.
