SOME PEOPLE DON'T SURVIVE THE CHAOS. SOME PEOPLE BECOME IT.
Emmy Award nominee Lizzy Caplan joins Rob Mac in FX's FARCRY, the upcoming anthology series based on Ubisoft's iconic video game franchise.
The cast just got a lot more dangerous. 😏
Miami has basically the perfect roster to maximize Anfernee Simons. Just defense everywhere, he can focus solely on scoring. Would be a really nice fit.
JUST IN: 🇺🇸🇩🇪 The U.S. is reportedly investigating Germany for making medicine and healthcare "too affordable."
"Germany is being pressured to raise prices, to 'prevent' the value of global drug prices from going down."
@hell_line0 Qualified Immunity must be abolished. (Nobody should have more rights than others.) Cops should be forced to hold private insurance. So that when they do something like this. That insurance policy pays out instead of tax payer money.
Curry Barker on his upcoming 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre' movie for A24 ⛓️
"I want to make a new generation of people scared and give them this feeling of: 'What if you went on a road trip with your friends and this happened to you?' I want to capture the rawness and the grounded-ness of the original"
"I wouldn’t be interested if I didn’t think I could find a way in that feels fresh and new, while still respecting the original. The canon itself is all over the place, so there’s not much to stay loyal to other than the original"
He watched all 10 films in the franchise to prepare for developing it:
"Some of those movies just turn out to be a guy with a chainsaw chasing a person around. It doesn’t work to just have a chase movie. They’re hiding in a barn. It gets old. And I don’t buy it — a chainsaw is loud but they don’t hear it? I hate when you’re watching a movie and you’re thinking, “Just do this [instead]"

With Guillermo del Toro’s recommendation, I started watching Apple TV+‘s “Widow’s Bay.” It’s so incredibly good that I couldn’t stop, so I binged through Episode 9 in one go. This horror-comedy, executive produced by Hiro Murai, is set in a cursed island town 40 miles off the coast of New England. Dense fog, violent storms, and all kinds of supernatural phenomena descend upon the town. It’s packed with horror elements, one after another. Fans of Stephen King and horror in general will love it. The pacing is excellent, and the balance between horror and humor is just right. Ironically, the mayor’s tireless efforts to attract tourists reminded me of Mayor Vaughn from “Jaws.” The townspeople are wonderfully eccentric as well, with personalities straight out of “Twin Peaks.” It’s been a long time since a series pulled me in this completely. I can’t wait for next Wednesday’s final episode.
