@TheMasterBucks They've literally jammed the ball full of sensors. To the naked eye there's no touch but there clearly was when looking at the sensor. The ref and var can't just ignore the evidence. I'm gutted, Croatia deserved more but there's no foul play.
@SkySports_Keith Too cheap. Fernandes has gone for £85 million and he's not even a regular international player. Tonali is Italy's superstar. Had to be over £100 million
Predictable overly negative reaction to a frustrating England draw tonight. Ghana came for a point and put in an impressively disciplined defensive performance. England should have won tonight, Kane should bury his late chance, and they will still win the group. Everyone relax
@TheAthleticFC He should be banned from taking penalties ever again. I witnessed the worst penalty I've ever seen last year when Palace came to St James' Park. His one in the champions league final was almost as bad
@LukeEdwardsTele The idea that going to Man U would help get him called up is proposterous. 3 Newcastle players were called up (one since departed) only 1 Man U (Rashford earned his call up in Barcelona)
@ToonPolls I think the opposite. Not in the shop window. Additionally I don't think Hall is a likely summer departure anyway. No real demand for left backs other than Man U and can't see him going there when they need to spread their spending
Based on our recent performances I'm not sure that Howe is. There's a lot more to dissect from that performance but that's too much to go into for now. We're crawling towards the finish line of a grueling season.
I fear that may be the final nail in the coffin for Eddie Howe. He'll get the rest of the season but with such an important summer ahead you need to be confident that the manager you are spending millions on is the right man to use those players. #NUFC#NEWBOU
@FabrizioRomano Me too. Barcelona got away with murder in the first leg against Newcastle yet somehow escaped without appropriate punishment from the ref
Another pathetic capitulation from Newcastle United from a winning position. I love Eddie Howe, and what is achieved at the club has been magnificent but the blame here lies squarely at his feet. #NUFC#CRYNEW
With Palace bringing their better players off the bench as they grew more desperate to get back in the game. We were always likely to need to use our bench, but for some reason Howe saw fit not to do this.
