Sometimes, we also tweet about other sports in Pakistan
p.s. we are NOT the PFF!
For Iran, the road to the 2026 World Cup is about more than football. From security fears to the weight of a nation at war, Team Melli faces many challenges. In an exclusive interview, Mehdi Taremi speaks to @MissSamJohnson ahead of one of the most politically charged World Cups.
PFF gave a tentative season calendar (subject to COVID-19 etc):
PFF League (B Div) expected to conclude this Oct
National Challenge Cup (Nov-Dec 2020)
National Womenβs C'ship (Dec 2020-Jan 2021)
Pakistan Premier League (from Jan 2021)
resuming NT activity for men/women/youth
Play SAFF U20 Championship with one set of coaches, then immediately change for another set of coaches. No logic or reason why. No continuity. Total nonsense as usual.
@f_hassan729@pakfooty Not much bring done in the country to educate, few pol have gone to study abroad and have done well, local universities uninterested.
Because there's no recruitment person, there's no TD, the coaches are playing musical chairs as nobody is being proper lengthy spell to build their team. To put these things in place you need to hire the right people, PFF is far from that yet.
Tour lag jaye aur bas.
as you all know Bilal Shah is called up for the Moroccan U16 Squad. (Pakistani Father, Moroccan mother)
straight from the chelsea academy, he didn't have to attend any local moroccan competetion like that.
i am still wondering, why is PFF not approaching these kind of players?
A new study has found that climate change has increased the likelihood of performance-impairing heat in 97 of the 104 matches scheduled for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Researchers say temperatures above 28Β°C can reduce sprinting, distance covered and recovery rates, potentially affecting match tempo and tactics. The biggest climate related impact is projected for the Spain vs Uruguay match in Guadalajara, where the risk of such heat has increased by more than 37 percentage points due to global warming.
With the World Cup set to be played across the US, Mexico and Canada next summer, the findings raise fresh questions about player welfare, scheduling and how climate change is reshaping elite sport.
