Decided to rent the house out and I've moved in to what can best be described as a converted garage 🤔 still feeling the affects 🤦 hope everyone is good... well not good but findings ways to move forward #footballindex

How is everyone holding up?? I've disassociated myself with everything FI since and I have to say it's the way forward, the more I kept following people and reading articles the more I felt ill! In a good place now though so thought I'd check out the latest! #FootballIndex

@Phoenix_FI @IndexRover Why would he as an individual be responsible as an individual? FI was a LTD company, it's own entity, Cole is financially esponsible for nothing, he just ran the company....

@DealerFi Yea same mate, I think it's the same with most people which is why these losses are so hard, we were all on the verge of selling anyways! Yea I was thinking it must be the regulators but curious what the history is of them giving any compo 🤔

Maybe someone can explain... I'm under the impression a LTD business is it's own entity thus if they go backrupt there is no one to pay out any kind of compensation, this right? As lot of people thinking we might get something back 🤔 not sure how that happens 🤷 #footballindex

@tomfennell15 Yes but again... My understanding was administration more often than not ends up in liquidation.... Unless a company is saved, I don't see how this is going to be the case 🤔 so my original point, where would the compo come from?

No one will ever understand how much football sucks without FI, unless you were invested and those dear olds you were hoping one day would actually come good! I hope if nothing else then the community remains as it is a pretty good consolation! #footballindex

@Ste89n1 I can see why you would do that... I did actually told my mates though and they were very understanding, gave some nice advice and didn't make me out to me in blame at all. Might me worth speaking to them! We are only human.

@holdtightyeah But if it's sinking.... Why would they bother buying back shares 🤔 they obviously want to try and keep it going... I don't have a tin hat on here I'm just wondering why they would bother...

Also cancelling any time off from work for the next two years.
This whole thing I've decided is just a mathematical problem that I can solve with lots of little solutions 🤔

Before football index I probably lost around 300 a year betting, obviously won some too but ultimately I was down. So all I have to do is not bet for 50 years ☺️ I'm only half joking, this is how I'm going to live with this I've decided! #footballindex

@22CVR_reborn @fuerte__apache I've lost money, 10% of my annual income so nothing to life changing. I don't mind losing 10% on a bet with odds I agree too, that's a decision I make... But for them to change your odds from 10-1 to evens and you really having no choice but to go along with it, that's not right

@22CVR_reborn @fuerte__apache Well... The company had been around several years and was gaining credibility, you invested and you physically saw returns. It made football even more enjoyable and really was a great concept. As a regulated platform the last thing you expect is for the odds on your bet....

@22CVR_reborn @fuerte__apache To be changed with 30 minutes notice. I agree it was still foolish for people to put in there life savings but people were being fed absolute lies from a somewhat reputable company, how was anyone to expect something like this to happen so abruptly.

It's not necessarily the 15k down the drain.... It's feeling so dumb, completely done over and really powerless to do anything 🤷 had a migraine since, I'd feel better if I could just shift that! #footballindex

Do I pull out my 1.5k or cling to the less than 1% hope the platform may recover 🤔 the amount I've lost already, another 1.5 seems somewhat irrelevant #footballindex
