While I understand the cast & crew aren't entitled to any profit sharing or bonuses I think some of this 300% profit should be shared with them in good spirits. It's not about the terms & conditions and how things work this is a once in a lifetime thing no one should walk away with a heavy heart.
Again I know the art director and others involved with this movie were paid decently and got a banger on their resume but making so much money and not sharing some with the crew will look very scroogey.
If you’re running for office and are going to call the race stolen you better have fucking receipts. Nothing more evil in a democracy than a fucking sore loser bitch like Trump.
The ending of SUPERMAN (2025) feels like James Gunn planting a flag. After years of darker takes on the character, the final moments double down on optimism, compassion, and the belief that Superman’s greatest power is simply being Superman.
Happy Pride friends! To anyone that has lost a father due to them being bigoted and shitty just know that I’m your dad now. I speak exclusively in movie quotes and everything relates to Batman. But you’ll be accepted and loved 🥰 #Pride
I keep forgetting that so many Americans are used to being stepped on by the 1% and love it. Y’all love doing your jobs and then when your company makes record profits you agree that you and your coworkers shouldn’t get a slice of that. Pathetic and disgusting.
I love success stories. Obsession and Backrooms are making history. That’s wonderful. All I’m saying is that the people that work their butts off should therefore be entitled to a bonus. Will they get one? Probably not. That’s a shame though.
@BrianCoey@mkobach They don’t deserve to be given a bonus when their product has a record profit? I’m not saying give everyone on the crew millions of dollars. But a bonus of the RECORD BREAKING PROFITS shouldn’t be out of the question.
@MojoFerocious I’m genuinely confused why my take is so hot. I’m not even a part of the goddamn crew! I’m just advocating for a reward for a successful story. And to answer your question YES.
Is it so much to ask that everyone involved in the production get a cut? Is it so unreasonable for the workers to share in the profits of their labour?
Actuals to come out tomorrow but #Backrooms narrowly beat #Obsession this weekend with $25.9M compared to $25.6M for Obsession in its 4th weekend
Obsession is definitely the movie of the year so far
