@StarCitizenDan Why use any of their 1,000+ employees to fix exploits and build an actual player trading feature when they can just make the non-existent economy even worse for players?
@SpaceTomatoGG There would be zero drama if there was anything else to talk about. A community starved for content makes their own.
A company cosplaying as a developer and suckers cosplaying as gamers.
@RearAdBsBlog It’s the first feature film shot entirely in IMAX 70mm, so if you’re wanting to watch it the way Nolan intended, then IMAX 70mm

@jpugsleypro@Draco_o7 That’s true, but he’s well known as making up outrageous bullshit that his games can never back up. At least he released games though.
@HeyItsBWags But what about the shiny ships? Don’t think about how the game is now. Fantasize about the imaginary game it will be at some undefined point “in the future.” It’s the CIG way.
@Draco_o7 I think it is actually that bad, but CIG simps will be back on program with whatever flashy marketing morsel they drip feed to backers soon. It’s going to be some promise of new content, maybe a tease of Nix planets “in the future” and the crying will stop.
EXCLUSIVE: The new "Stargate" TV series has been axed at Amazon.
The show was first announced with a series order in November 2025 and hailed from showrunner Martin Gero, who was a writer on "Stargate SG-1" and "Stargate: Atlantis." Sources say Amazon execs were concerned that Gero's take on the series would not have broad appeal beyond the franchise's already dedicated fanbase.

@Mad_PicSnaps@heimdelight@discolando Oh come on. They bullshit everyone at those events, that’s why they don’t want a record of it. There have been a dozen “release windows” for both games over the years.
Recording them is dumb mostly just because everything they say is entirely unreliable anyway.
@discolando@heimdelight It’s not about your job, it’s about being in public where you have no right to privacy. Cameras in the bar, on the street, dash cams in cars passing by. Intent doesn’t matter.
Is it “wrong” ethically? Maybe.
Is it wrong legally or against your rights? No, not at all.
I wasn’t sure how Spider-Noir was going to pull this off and do justice to a PI story, a Spider-Man story and a Nick Cage role, but somehow it all really worked for me.
I’d definitely recommend checking it out if you’re a fan of any of those things.
@Meta_VKG It’s for sure weird and rude to secretly record someone.
Almost as weird and rude as taking $1 billion from supporters to pay for your salary for 14 years and an unnecessarily ostentatious office while continually lying about release dates and development progress.
@OlliHull Tbh, you’d probably be happier which would be nice.
Relying on CIG to make decisions that produce interesting content, not just frustration/outrage vids is a losing bet. It’s pragmatic to not rely on them for your livelihood.
@Galaxt1ka I just don’t do anything that requires a tip anymore. Pay workers. If a business can’t operate without their staff being subsidized with additional fees, it’s a bad business.
