Iran’s terrorist IRGC carried out an attack targeting Girde Chal, a civilian residential area belonging to PDKI. The attack hit a populated zone, putting civilian lives at grave risk and constituting a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law. The PDKI condemns this act of aggression in the strongest possible terms and holds the Iranian regime fully responsible for any casualties and material damage resulting from the assault.
The Alliance of Political Parties of Iranian Kurdistan issued an urgent statement condemning the vast and continuous Iranian missile and drone strikes against civilian Kurdish refugee camps in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. The attacks have endangered the lives of hundreds of civilians, including children and elderly, and caused repeated displacement under dire humanitarian conditions.
The Alliance calls on the UN, the US and allied nations, and the Iraqi government to increase pressure on Tehran, provide air defense protection for refugee areas, and hold Iran accountable for violating Iraqi sovereignty under international law.
🚨 SHOCKING:
IRAN CALLS CIVILIANS TO MAN CHECKPOINTS
Video from Iran shows people lining up to volunteer for regime checkpoints.
These checkpoints are used to control neighborhoods, monitor movement, and stop protests, often run by Basij militia linked to the IRGC.
Many of them have been increasingly targeted in recent strikes, forcing the regime to recruit civilians to keep them operating.

On July 13, 1989, three #Kurdish diplomats met in the Austrian Capital Vienna with #Iranian representatives to negotiate a peaceful resolution to the Kurdish question in Iran, but what unfolded was something resembling a bloody scene out of HBO’s Game of Thrones. General Secretary of the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan (#PDKI) Abdul Rahman #Ghassemlou; Abdulla Qaderi Azar, head of PDKI’s international relations; and Kurdish Iraqi professor Dr. Fazil Rasouell as mediator met with three Iranian delegates who opened fire on them in close range at the very table where peace was to be negotiated.
The terror of Ghassemlou and his colleagues and hundreds of other members of the Iranian opposition encompass important lessons and revelations about the current climate of tension between #Iran and the #US and the role of the Europeans.
The fact that the Kurdish diplomats were gunned down in cold blood in a European capital, despite meeting to find a peaceful resolution, is a clear indicator that the regime in Iran is not interested in peace and is unlikely to negotiate on the nuclear issue or any other issue with the US. It is also a clear indictment of the kind of bloody diplomacy that the Iranian regime has been carrying out since its inception.

The irony is as lethal as the gallows. While the Iranian regime postures as the ultimate champion for Palestinian rights, and “oppressed” nations, its hands are stained with the blood of its own Kurdish citizens—the very people asking for the same dignity and self-determination.
What this war is unearthing in the Middle East isn’t just the liberation of one oppressed nation of 90 millions—it is also cracking a millenarian wall of suppression imposed by jihadism against Indigenous peoples who lost their freedom, cultures, and dreams, and who are now rising again.
The Alliance of Political Parties of Iranian Kurdistan issued a statement calling for solidarity among Iran’s oppressed nations and pro-democracy forces, emphasizing the need for a democratic transition built on national rights, equality, and fundamental freedoms.
The statement includes a direct appeal to the Azerbaijani Turkish nation, affirming the historical coexistence of Kurds and Azerbaijanis in mixed regions and calling for joint administration, equal rights, and democratic governance in such areas. The Alliance also reaffirmed its commitment to the historic Friendship Pact between the Republic of Kurdistan and the Azerbaijan National Government as a guiding framework for Kurdish-Azerbaijani relations.
The Alliance further declared its commitment to peaceful coexistence with all neighboring states, stating that stability can only be achieved through dialogue and mutual respect.
