Rival executives believe the Colts will soon become a very active seller, per @JFowlerESPN.
All of the following players could become available in trade talks for contenders:
Jonathan Taylor
Quenton Nelson
DeForest Buckner
Josh Downs
Keenan Allen
Grover Stewart
Peyton as team president is great vibes coded. I lean he says no, but The ownership stake could be too alluring for him also I feel. Peyton as GM tho idk. Think that needs to be someone else.
@StickToTheModel Hate to break it to you but if your model says a future HOF'er in the prime of his career is only worth a 5 and Daniel Jones is worth a 1, the model is broken
Chris Ballard needs fired today so the Colts can trade assets prior to the deadline
He will go down with the ship if they don’t move on from him before
Fire him now
@DashawnDontPlay@purityempire Free AR for what? This regime and players are all done for. Not a single player on this roster has created a winning culture. AR had his chance. He gets injured every other game he gets in or in the locker room with workout bands. Might as well just put Riley in there
I think Carlie Irsay-Gordon deserves some blame for this mess, too.
I don’t know how you can be around this organization for years, see everything that’s happened under Ballard, and decide to bring him back this offseason when you had the chance to move on.
I have my doubts.
Your 10 yr GM and “greatest GM hire of the 21st century” decided to fix the defense, hires a guy fired from Cincy who was in bottom 1/3 of ever major Def category. Makes sense!
Tbh, Daniel Jones played VERY good QB for the Colts today.
Not enough help from the run game, and DEFINITELY not enough help from the defense.
Glass half full, this at least feels like a performance the Colts can build on.
I’m just so tired of the Chris Ballard era (and Steichen era as well). Constant flat performances against playoff contending AFC teams. That reset can’t come fast enough
