The problem with fufilling a destiny especially for Achillies and realizing that your whole life was made for certain points and the gods deemed your life to be controlled by their hands it makes the heartbreak at the end of the story that much more depressing. @usaowtc#wtcsong2
@EllaWTC3 I think once your destiny is revealed to you that the life you have lived was indeed in a way built for that destiny rather than for the person itself.
A Greek love story, though there are many this one is focused on the world of Achillies and told by someone else. It is highly suggested there was a combination of emotion for the two. It is a good breath of fresh air compared to the stories of battle and war. @usaowtc#wtcsong1
What happens in society is that we get so used to gender being the same as sex when it is in fact not. Gender is more fluid and what you deem it so, and biological sex what you are born into. The male or female part of who you stem from biology, not society. @usaowtc#wtcgender
@JuanFra64341312 @of_usao@USAOWTC I think there is a huge difference in recognizing and accepting that sex and gender are not the same and shouldn't be superimposed on anyone
I don't consider myself to be an avid gamer, I have dust layers on layers on my Xbox but when you find a game that totally immerses you in that world you truly become a part of that world. It changes you and leaves a positive impact. That is the power of games. @usaowtc#wtcvid
@brandon13832118 People who argue against most things are the ones that have never experienced any other side or stance than their own. Same with video games.
Though this book was absolutely a product of its environment and as was the author. Who wrote about such things that were acceptable to society, though as a reader of the current age we can't help to notice how flawed the writing is no matter how good. @usaowtc#wtckin2
@CavityCranium@USAOWTC I feel there is only so much you can learn from someone of the past meaning the extent is stretched through their life and there is nothing more or after for the literature they write. Meaning that the product of time can't excuse the extent to which we can learn from this.
The interpretation of how the book is and what is going on does not do it justice compared to how enthralled and incapsulated you are by the story as soon as you start reading. It does something a lot of books only hope to achieve and that speaks volumes. @usaowtc#wtckin1
The whole idea behind being yourself is to accept ourselves as who we are. Though often enough we change to fit our social surrounding i.e. a society. A society dictates loosely what we show and don't based on the beliefs of that society as a whole @usaowtc#WTCCes
Though Keynes does describe how we lean more toward gradual change in everything I do not know if being comfortable with that innate trait will ever allow us to revolutionize civilizations or societies. Change is good, no matter the velocity it comes at you. @usaowtc#wtckeynes
@AmNineOClock @USAOWTC It is human nature to be drawn towards companionship which is also a form of security. So it is justifiable that we would be more keen to accept gradual change as it would seem like no change at all
As with poems, art has multiple interpretations but sometimes it is most beautiful when taken at face value for what it is not what it could be. To search for potential where there is none is the fault of the accuser not accused. @usaowtc#wtcmag
