@TaraAnnThieke@Zebbart Our UGCC Archeparchy did not allow wooden spoons. We used a second chalice with grain alcohol (to disinfect) and a second spoon which was dipped, wiped, and switched out between each parishioner.
Similar childhood. Gave up art for a long time but always found other creative expressions. Did a watercolor of the church as part of a 65th birthday gift for our Metropolitan. Then a wealthy patron of the church commissioned one for her daughter’s wedding anniversary. God does work in mysterious ways.
