Every time people ask for more regulation people like you run and say ohhhh noooo they’re communist. Hell no I’m not communist I just have common sense. I know the risks with AI and data centers if the government doesn’t step in. It needs regulating because this AI race is on the global scale it’s another race, except we can’t risk destroying the country over it. AI can be helpful and great, but people still need to be able to afford their own equipment. These private companies are selling to one another and specifically ignoring regular everyday people. It’s like 2 giant billion dollar corporations being buddy buddy and everyone else is left out. This is what regulatory bodies are for.. they are supposed to ensure there is fair competition or distribution of things.

I don't think buying Boost would be a bad idea because ideally you are just entering the market via a buyout of a failing telecom rather than trying to insert yourself as a random competitor. They will be able to get the low amount of spectrum boost already owns and continue from there. SpaceX launching their own plan really would force legacy carriers to re-evaluate their plans which is good for consumerism could honestly save a lot of us money
