Nice confirmation that everyone’s favorite “journalist” gets spoon-fed stories by well connected people, sometimes telling complete lies, that get regurgitated to the public.

2024 NJ-08 Primary Takeaways
If you’d prefer a tl;dr:
Progressives continue a trend of gaining ground while the HCDO is stagnant at best. 2024 wasn’t our year, but we’re not far off.
Let’s dig in…
Not too much I can add to all that has been written about CD-8 turnout and margins in the past few days, but one thing that just stood out to me is #Bayonne was defintely closer than expected.
The margins were approximately 51-38-11 for Menendez, Bhalla, and Jasey respectively.
Tonight the Jersey City Theater Center @JCTCenter will host a private screening of Down the Line, a documentary made in the midst of the County Line saga.
Hope to see you all there!

Are enough democrats in New Jersey angry enough that we will elect actual progressives in the coming years? People who are committed to residents not just developers and corporations?
If you’ve ever observed New Jersey politics and said “I wish there was more secrecy and backdoor dealing,” then boy does the NJ State Legislature have a bill for you!
If you’ve had the opposite reaction, then we need your help...
I'm old enough to remember how @GovMurphy took Somerset Chair Peg Schaffer to Asia, gave Bergen Chair Paul Juliano a job, appointed Middlesex Chair Kevin McCabe to the Port Authority Board, & they gave his wife the line.
I'd call it unethical and maybe unlawful, not progressive.
Two worthy causes to support at the #JerseyCity council meeting tomorrow (Wednesday)—pedestrian safety and #RankedChoiceVoting!

Bullshit. Here are some reps the line has given me
1. A guy who has cars and gold bars he apparently traded for political favors
2. A guy who spreads billionaire propaganda to try to privatize portions of a state park
3. A guy accused of drunkenly pushing gf down the stairs…
So about that tweet... We haven't endorsed in this race, nor has national... Love that this platform makes it so easy to parody but those not Twitter brained get tricked by stuff like this. Kind of like The County Line, no? We need ballots that let voters pick their candidates.
The crossing guard and I are laughing bc you have to love this weird Jersey City. There’s a bunch of skinless chicken pieces and a bag of rosemary scattered across Grand. Catering job gone bad.
