Big news for Passaic County: I just clawed back $1.2 million in federal Homeland Security funding from Washington for Bloomingdale, Ringwood, Wanaque, and West Milford police, firefighters, and first responders to upgrade radios, expand training, and keep our communities safe.

Your federal tax dollars are coming home to Jersey. As Chair of the Law Enforcement Caucus, I’ll always get the backs of our first responders.

Our nation’s service academies are the best in the world, and a record number of academy acceptances are from right here in the Fifth District.

Last week, I joined the Ukrainian community in North Jersey, and the message was clear: Ukraine cannot be left to face this winter alone.

We were told that easing sanctions on Russia would lower diesel prices at home. It won’t, and the only one benefiting is Putin, who is striking Ukraine’s power grid. We should be raising the pressure on Putin not rewarding him.

Fall in North Jersey doesn't get any better than this! I had a great time at the Hillsdale Annual Fall Festival, spending the day with Jersey families, our local small business owners, and community leaders. This is what makes Hillsdale, and all of North Jersey, such a special place to call home.

When seconds matter most, Sussex County police need to be able to talk to each other. The federal dollars I clawed back from Washington will build a countywide radio system linking every local department, the State Police, and the County Sheriff. I’ll always get the backs of our first responders.

Trump claims lifting sanctions on Russia will lower diesel prices. Instead, prices are still at record highs, and Putin’s war chest is growing at the American taxpayer’s expense.

Putin is bombing Ukrainian power plants heading into winter. We need maximum pressure, not a pass.
