On what was supposed to be the start of an exciting weekend for anglers across Florida and the Southeast, an activist Obama-appointed judge issued a last-minute injunction blocking the EFPs authorizing recreational red snapper fishing in the South Atlantic.

Families, charter captains, bait shops, and anglers have spent weeks preparing for this season only for one judge in Washington, D.C. to shut it down from the bench. It’s outrageous.

A federal judge sitting hundreds of miles away does not know our waters better than the men and women who fish them every day. America’s sportsmen and anglers are the original conservationists, and bureaucrats and activist courts should respect that.

I stand with @MyFWC, @NOAA, and Commerce Secretary Lutnick against this politically motivated delay. We will keep fighting until this decision is overturned on appeal.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg warned against packing the Supreme Court. 

Justice Breyer said court packing would erode public trust. 

Joe Biden called it a “boneheaded idea.”

Now Democrats want to do it because they don’t like the Court’s decisions.

This is a dangerous game Democrats are playing and we shouldn’t just burn down the Court because we disagree with their rulings.

If a conservative organization gave $3 million dollars to “informants” in white supremacy groups, the left-wing media would have nonstop coverage of it for days.
