Premier of Ontario • MPP Etobicoke North • Leader of the @OntarioPCParty • Let’s Protect Ontario

[Doug Ford @fordnation]

As polls begin to close, I want to thank the candidates across all 444 of Ontario’s municipalities for their willingness to step up and serve the public.

Our government is ready to work with everyone who is elected tonight on the issues that matter most to Ontario families: making life more affordable, keeping communities safe, delivering high-quality public services and protecting workers from tariffs and economic uncertainty.

[Doug Ford @fordnation]

I appreciated the productive meeting today in Ottawa with the Prime Minister, premiers and Indigenous leaders from across Canada. We discussed how we can we work together to achieve economic reconciliation and unleash the shared prosperity that will protect workers and families in every part of the country.

The Ford government says more than half a million people have been connected to a family doctor or primary care team through Health Care Connect. https://t.co/ALPIY1a5kp

[Doug Ford @fordnation]

Ontario’s $3.4 billion Primary Care Action Plan is ahead of schedule, with more than half a million more Ontario patients connected to a family doctor or primary care since last January. We’re not slowing down as we work to connect everyone in the province to convenient care by 2029.

Katie is a firefighter, a mom and a brain tumour survivor.

Her story shows why we’re doubling down on our $3.4 billion Primary Care Action Plan, which has already connected more than half a million more people to a family doctor or primary care provider since last January.

Check out the progress being made along the all-new Ontario Line, where new subway tunnels are being dug under downtown Toronto for the first time in six decades.

Once complete, this 15.6 kilometre subway line will put more than 230,000 people within walking distance of transit and connect commuters from across the Greater Toronto Area.

Congratulation to @LDoerkson, British Columbia’s next premier, and the BC Conservative Party on their historic election victory.

I’m looking forward to working together as we unlock our natural resources, continue to break down internal trade barriers and build a more competitive and united Canada from coast to coast to coast.

I also want to thank David Eby for his years of dedicated public service and wish him and his family all the best. Premier Eby has been an important part of Team Canada as we stood up to tariffs and worked together to protect Canadian sovereignty.

Last night, I attended the 25th annual Trillium Diwali Gala in support of Trillium Health Partners.

Diwali reminds us of the importance of giving back to our communities, and I want to thank everyone for their generosity in supporting better health care for families across our province.

This is a great vote of confidence in Ontario’s world-class steel workers as we continue building the most competitive economy in the G7.

Today, I visited the Gladstone Cadbury factory to mark 120 years of operations. With products reaching consumers across Ontario, Canada and beyond, the factory is part of a global supply chain.

We’ll keep working to strengthen Ontario’s manufacturing sector, protect good-paying jobs and build a more competitive economy.

[Doug Ford @fordnation]

Now get rid of the rest.

Today, I had the chance to deliver the keynote address to volunteers and community leaders at the Rotary Club of Toronto.

For more than a century, their commitment to service has helped strengthen our communities and support those who need it most.

This evening, I joined B’nai Brith Canada for their Award of Merit Gala to recognize their longstanding contributions to Ontario’s Jewish community.

For more than 150 years, B’nai Brith has championed human rights, fought antisemitism and provided support to vulnerable Canadians. We’ll keep working together to build safer, stronger communities across Ontario.

Ontario is bringing in dedicated legislation to speed up the expansion of Highway 69 by five years, improving highway safety and securing a critical connection for interprovincial trade and Canadian sovereignty.

[Prabmeet Sarkaria @PrabSarkaria]

Northern Ontario has waited long enough for a safer, more reliable Highway 69.

Our government is introducing the Building Highway 69 Faster Act to cut through red tape and accelerate the widening of Highway 69 between Parry Sound and Sudbury by five years.

We're improving road safety, strengthening our northern economy and getting it done faster. This is how we Protect Ontario.

[Doug Ford @fordnation]

We’re saving Ontario businesses an additional $160 million next year, keeping Ontario competitive in the face of tariffs and helping businesses reinvest to create jobs here in the province.

[Trevor Jones @TrevorJonesCKL]

Ontario is continuing to lead the country in lowering costs for businesses!

At @memafoods today with Ministers @ninatangri and @KingaSurmaMPP, where we highlighted the @WSIB’s latest premium rate reduction, saving employers $160 million next year and helping them keep workers on the job as they face the impact of U.S. tariffs.

These savings complement our government's $150M Ontario Together Trade Fund and $1B Protect Ontario Financing Program, giving businesses more tools to weather economic uncertainty.

[Doug Ford @fordnation]

Team Canada is united in our fight to protect workers from tariffs and secure the jobs of the future.

Today’s agreement with the federal government will fortify Ontario’s steel and auto sectors and unlock the enormous economic potential of the Ring of Fire. Together, we’re protecting Ontario and protecting Canada.

As Alberta hospitals continue to respond to the devastating fire that took place at CFB Wainwright last week, Ontario’s heroic health-care workers are stepping up to help.

Ontario is deploying 28 health-care staff, including surgeons and nurses with special expertise in burn care, to support the recovery efforts. We’re also providing additional equipment to support their work as they care for those who were injured in last week’s fire.

In times of crisis, Canadians pull together and have each others’ backs. That’s exactly what we’re doing.

[Doug Ford @fordnation]

I’m in Ottawa today with Prime Minister Carney to launch an action plan that will protect Ontario workers from tariffs and help unleash our economy.

This is a major milestone in our plan to cut red tape and make Ontario the most competitive place in the G7 to invest and create jobs.

We’re cutting approval wait times for archaeological assessments by up to 80 per cent, giving businesses the confidence they need to invest and getting homes and infrastructure built faster.

[Graham McGregor @BramptonGraham]

As part of our plan to cut red tape, we’re modernizing Ontario’s heritage framework to make processes faster, clearer, and easier to navigate.

By cutting approval timelines by up to 80 per cent, we’re helping get homes and infrastructure built sooner, while continuing to protect Ontario’s archaeological heritage.

[Doug Ford @fordnation]

Alberta voters have overwhelmingly chosen a stronger, more prosperous future for their province by remaining in Canada.

I’m thrilled by the decisive support Albertans have shown for the country we all love. Now it’s up to the rest of Canada to deliver on our commitment to Alberta by building new pipelines, unlocking our natural resources and unleashing the prosperity that will protect the future of Canadians from coast to coast to coast.
