John Ford

Race organizer & co-owner of Swamp Donkey & FearBC Adventure Racing events. More of a Major Tom than ground control... more funk than funky.

There's no complaining from anyone about winter in the Koots. Climbing up to White Queen 2178m with some wind and driving snow to make it feel a little epic. Just the way I like it! #outofoffice

[John Ford @FordSDAR]

@RickShone No complaints here, just lots of smiling faces in the outdoors😁❄️

@RickShone For Mayor! You know him as a Race Director that's been creating events at @SwampDonkeyAR Others know him as longtime business owner of @wsupply_wpg We know him & know he would be an amazing Mayor! VOTE Oct 26th & consider Rick Shone New Vision New Voice #wpg22 #mbpoli

Straight from a mayoral forum to direct the last race of the season. It was tough to honour my volunteer commitment with @SwampDonkeyAR this year - but I still managed to build 4 technical courses for 500 racers since May 1 - couldn't have done it without such a fantastic team!

If anyone sees my orange Rossin riding around - I would really like it back from the person who just STOLE IT FROM ME...529 alert has been activated...(stolen in West End)

I've seen so many people change their lives - developing immense physical and mental strength. Now they bring others along to do the same. All because they took that first step. Real change happens by taking action and pursuing things you didn't think were possible! 3/3 #wpgpoli

Hosted the first MB Adventure Race series event last wknd at LaBarriere with our awesome team @SwampDonkeyAR This group of people are the most positive, optimistic and resilient folks I know. Thanks for always pushing me to be a better person every day! /1 #tbt

New Vision. New Voice. What we have been doing is not working...I will be the new voice Winnipeg needs to bring some sound common sense to city hall and focus on priorities that build a city we can all be proud of! #mbpoli

[Swamp Donkey AR @SwampDonkeyAR]

Big news @rickshone is running for Mayor of Winnipeg & we couldn't be more proud! In true Swamp Donkey fashion he's planning to run a fun, positive and extremely competitive campaign. The Winnipeg Sun had a great article https://t.co/nhOhXtb38Z
