Sadly, some people have so confused their place in the racial caste system with their personal and cultural identity, they cannot tell the difference.

Death was always something I had experienced through a screen. The news. A movie. A trigger to restart at your last save. It was a surreal thing. I knew people died in real life but it was like a decent tan, it was something that didn't happen to me.
