End of season stats time for @monaghangaa. The loss of Rory Beggan was a huge factor today. Another one to consider is that St Tiernach Park draws were arguably a driver in #Monaghan's run to the quarter-final. Outside of Clones their form has been poor.

Rory Beggan is the only player who started the 2013 and 2015 Ulster finals set to start for @monaghangaa tomorrow.

For Monaghan to have remained competitive and reach an Ulster final with a brand new team is extremely impressive.

Starting to play football at 17, Karl O'Connell struggled most with the solo - he was running too fast 😀

- Only started playing Gaelic football at 17
- Only became a regular for Monaghan at 27
- Became an All Star at 30
