@JohnLewisRetail the music today in your Liverpool one store is SO loud, off brand and off putting. Normally shop here for the chilled experience. Leaving asap
@GWRHelp also - I was told that it was at the discretion of the train manager to declassify first class to allow otherwise standing passengers a seat. So you would rather protect the "experience" of 1st class passenger than refund them the difference & treat us with basic dignity
@GWRHelp this is your response! Seriously? What about fairness for customers who pay for tickets in standard class and even when we do reserve seats cannot get to them due to chronic over crowding of the aisles?
@GWRHelp Well that is clearly an error in apply bureaucratic power to someone who doesn't care about people in standard class. I walked the full length of the train and it is Rammed. But all she cared about was her 1st class service. #nationaliserailnow
2/2 if I allow people with standard class tickets to stay in 1st class". How dare you. What about ALL those in standard who have paid for a service. Shame on you @GWRHelp
@gwr on the 19.02 from paddington to Bristol temple meads today your conductor heard saying (after turfing out multiple people from 1st class to stand is a PACKED standard class like cattle) "I can't allow people to stay here - how am I supposed to maintain a 1st class service1/2
@GWRHelp thought it couldn't get any worse... today's train manager just informed first class how they can claim the difference between their ticket and a standard because they have to share the coach with the standard passengers. No announcement for standard class. Just woah.
@gwrhelp here we are again...the 8.09 from Swindon to paddington. Late, no seat (despite having a reservation in "coach H"...there isn't a coach H). Why is this a 5 carriage train when this happens EVERY DAY?
@GWRHelp how can you allow passengers who buy tickets at extortionate rates to stand the entire journey due to overcrowding without offering ANY compensation. I paid for a seat and you did not deliver. #demandarefund#nationaliserail
@GWRHelp@GWRHelp please note that it is NOT my job to usher other passengers out of the way. I have a job which, but for GWR, I might occasionally be on time for.
@GWRHelp he told me that "there are lots of seats in coach A" but the passage way to coach A was blocked with LOTS of other standing passenger (see photo below). So, he kicked me out of the vestibule into the other (half empty) 1st class carriage, where I stood, blocked.
@GWRHelp Thanks, however, to add insult to injury, on my return journey this evening (the 17.30 from London Paddington to Bristol), I had the unpleasant experience of a conductor who would not even let me STAND in the vestibule IN BETWEEN the 1st class carriages...
@GWRHelp All that being said, another member of staff felt so sorry for me that they gave some cheddars. Shout out to them - thank you. All I can say though is that clearly your own staff are ashamed of your policies #bemorecheddar
@GWRHelp he would not lete even STAND I'm the vestibule but insisted that I push my way through the crowd because there were lots of free seats in coach A...well I couldn't get to coach A so he had to put up with me standing in an empty first class carriage. Photos below.
