Today marks the end of my 6 year Forest Activities journey. I’ve loved every minute of it & enjoyed watching the children try all my activities with enthusiasm whatever the weather! Never say never but for now I’m hoping new adventures are waiting. Thanks for all the support🍄

Finally we each got a teddy and showed them our forest school! 🧸🌳

We then made a fire and made yummy popcorn! We even had a cup full as a mid morning snack🍿 After that we chalked and mud painted the plant pots and tires, so much fun!

Fabulous morning at forest school! We started by being mini beast detective, we went on a hunt to find as many as possible 🐞🦟🕷🐜🪳

Abit wetter this morning @CalderPrimary but KS1 still managed to have a fun morning of bug hunting, mark making & a popcorn fire before the rain set in!🤩

What a super morning we are having so far! Super shelter building which has used lots of teamwork and problem solving. They were all waterproof too!

Class 4 had a wonderful explore of the woodland this morning & found lots of creatures living amongst the undergrowth, even a frog (or was it a toad, we couldn’t decide!)

Today Class 5 were using tools to make bug friendly natural materials to go into the bug hotel in the nature area 🐞

Class 6 had their last Forest Activities this afternoon. We had lots of fun plus ice pops & some amazing sunshine art even on a cloudy day! You’ve been a great group to work with 🤩
