Forge

The Bittensor-native money market. Borrow $TAO without selling your Alpha.

Soon, powered by @EndureNet.

[Forge @ForgeLending]

Heat’s rising.

Bittensor is about to get liquid.

Mid-November.

[Forge @ForgeLending]

Root yield doesn’t have to be the ceiling for your $TAO.

Supply it on Forge and root yield stays your base rate, with interest from the lending market on top whenever it’s in use.

Mid-November.

Forge is partnering with @Bitcast_network ($TAO SN93).

Bitcast is a decentralized content marketing protocol on Bittensor. They will help us bring Forge to every user in the ecosystem ahead of mainnet.

Glad to have a Bittensor-native distribution partner in our corner.

@MaxSebti @TomyVE1 Lets do it 🤝

[Forge @ForgeLending]

Don’t sell your Alpha. Borrow against it.

Score (SN44) Alpha will be one of the initial collaterals on Forge.

Mid-November.

[Forge @ForgeLending]

You staked your Alpha for a reason. Getting $TAO out of it usually means selling it.

Forge will change that. You approve the amount you want to use, and Forge lends $TAO against your native stake, through staking approvals built into Subtensor. Your Alpha stays staked.

Mid-November.

This is huge for the Bittensor community!!

No economy grows without lending. Period.

Leverage and liquidity are what turn holders into builders, traders and believers into an actual economy.

Until now, your Alpha just sat there.

@ForgeLending changes that.

Most are not aware of it yet.... LFGGG https://t.co/HfvU4MCblA

[RVCrypto @RvCrypto]

Forge, the Bittensor lending platform, will launch in mid-November.

This is something I've been waiting for, and I'm pretty excited about it.

The $TAO ecosystem has a lot of unused liquidity, and I think Forge will solve a big part of this problem.

Excited!

@ForgeLending Awesome!

Mainnet update:

We have been working towards mainnet for quite some time, and we want to be transparent about what was happening behind the scenes.

Getting this right was always more important than getting it done fast. Forge is built to handle real capital, and that requires a strong foundation that has been fully reviewed and secured.

We worked closely with @taodotcom throughout this process. While Forge was being audited, https://t.co/qsLIXsAJqn conducted a broader audit on their wstAlpha wrappers and the underlying BittensorEVM stack, providing solid ground to build DeFi in the Bittensor ecosystem.

The audits flagged specific items, all of which were addressed before moving forward.

None of this would have been possible without the excellent work of the https://t.co/qsLIXsAJqn team. We’re glad to have them as partners.

Now, Forge is ready to start the countdown to mainnet.

@tseutseutao Revenue is the metric that matters.

Emissions bootstrap subnets, revenue is what keeps them alive.
The winners will be the ones selling something people pay for outside the network.

Or in the case of @ForgeLending leveraging the ecosystem.

Supplying $TAO on Forge means root yield as the base rate, plus additional interest from borrowers when utilization rises.

Utilization is the share of supplied $TAO that's currently borrowed. As borrowing demand grows, more interest flows to suppliers, increasing the value of your supplied position.

Forge is on testnet now. See how the supply side works before mainnet: https://t.co/zv3NZ4yzNN

[Forge @ForgeLending]

Every Alpha market on Forge has a liquidation threshold.

If your debt grows too large relative to your collateral value and crosses it, your position can be liquidated. That can happen when you borrow too close to your limit or when Alpha's value falls and your borrowing power shrinks.

Here's how liquidation is designed to work:

A liquidator repays part of the borrower's $TAO debt.
Forge seizes the borrower's Alpha collateral.
The liquidator receives it as vWAlpha tokens.
A liquidation bonus is split between the liquidator and the protocol reserve.

Forge is on testnet now. Explore the markets, check each one's liquidation threshold, and see how the numbers work before mainnet: https://t.co/XKxiDnM459

When you connect your EVM wallet to Forge, you'll see two addresses: your 0x address and a Bittensor address starting with 5.

That second one is your mirror address.

It's automatically derived from your EVM wallet. You don't create it, you don't register it. The Bittensor network uses it to link your EVM activity to Subtensor state under the hood.

Why does it matter? Because $TAO lives on Bittensor, not on an EVM chain. To fund your Forge wallet, you send $TAO to the mirror address. Once confirmed, it shows up as your EVM balance.

When sending $TAO to your mirror address, use an official wallet or exchange flow and double-check the destination before confirming.

Two addresses, one source. That's how Forge connects Bittensor and EVM.

Running a subnet means constantly making capital decisions. Development and operations cost $TAO, and the most straightforward way to get it has always been to sell Alpha.

The problem is that selling Alpha sends a signal to your delegators, to the market, to anyone watching. It says you're reducing your own exposure to the network you're asking others to believe in.

Forge is being built to solve this. Subnet owners will be able to borrow $TAO against their Alpha without selling, keeping their position intact while funding what the subnet needs.

The capital has always been there. Soon, there will be a way to access it.

[Forge @ForgeLending]

Every Alpha market on Forge has a supply cap, and it starts conservative on purpose.

At launch, each market will be capped at 10-12% of the available Alpha liquidity in that subnet's pool. That limits how much exposure any single market can create before its track record is established.

Caps aren't fixed. They can be raised as a market proves resilient and tightened if risk rises. Parameters are set by the Guardian Multisig at launch and will gradually be informed by Endure's risk intelligence over time.

Controlled growth is how a lending market earns the right to scale.

[Forge @ForgeLending]

The users who’ve already tried testnet know how the flows work, what account health means, and how to read their position.

Mainnet won’t wait for anyone to catch up.

Under 1% median error across 15 subnets and 12 scoring rounds.

This is the signal that will gradually inform how Forge risk parameters are set.

[Endure Network @EndureNet]

Under 1%. That’s the typical gap between Endure’s liquidity depth forecast and what actually happened.

It’s the median across 15 subnets and 12 rounds (Oct 4 to 15), on the 5-day horizon. Liquidity depth is the time-weighted average $TAO reserve of a pool.

On Oct 15, the SN107 forecast was about 20,639 $TAO and the realized value about 20,354 $TAO, a 1.4% miss.

Every round’s forecasts and outcomes are public.
