📍Begging Burro - Custer, SD

Begging Burro turned out to be a great lunch stop just outside Custer State Park with fresh, flavorful Mexican food and friendly service. The plates arrived sizzling hot, well-seasoned, and generously portioned. The atmosphere was relaxed, the décor pleasant, and the whole experience felt easy and welcoming.
They were out of guacamole that day due to an avocado shortage, but the nachos and house made salsa more than made up for it.

Food

• Taco Salad with Grilled Beef - fresh greens, tender beef, crisp chips, and a bright finish from the toppings.
• Chicken Enchiladas - rich, comforting, and generous.
• Beef Burrito - hearty, well-filled, and topped with a clean, balanced sauce. A satisfying classic done right.
• “I’m Not Hungry” Chicken Quesadilla Kids Meal - simple, delicious, loved by the kid.
