💔 Last Sunday, Mercy Full Project Rescue in Tampa, Florida hosted a mini adoption event for Red.
A few other pups came too, but somehow every dog found a home that day except Red. 😔
Red is 6 years old, about 12 lbs, potty trained, affectionate, cuddly, and happiest relaxing with his people.
He can get anxious and vocal in busy public settings, but at home he is calm, easygoing, and full of love.
Red is not looking for adventure. He is just looking for someone to choose him.
Please share his story. His forever family may be one share away. ❤️🐾

Then text +1 (657) 423-8216 to let them know you’re interested.
You get maybe 10–15 years with them.
But to them, you’re their entire life.
The crazy years.
The quiet years.
The days nobody talks about.
Funny how they always seem to arrive right when you need to learn something.
I don’t think God gives you that dog by accident.
This father couldn't afford treatment for his son. So every morning, he takes him to the beach and buries him halfway in the ground, upright.
This is to help him build lower body strength so that he can learn to stand and walk.
I have heart surgery coming up next week and now understand why I’ve been so physically exhausted and out-of-sorts these past few months. The docs tell me my condition is called “atrial functional tricuspid regurgitation” and that it is “mainly due to long standing atrial fibrillation… The tricuspid valve is leaking severely, causing a back pressure on all the internal organs and a high jugular venous pressure.” The procedure aims to get this old body back on the road again quickly and efficiently. It is VERY LOW RISK but of course I’m grateful for any good wishes sent my way. I’m in the midst of writing a new book, the best work I’ve ever done, and I’m not going to let this stop me! I said yes to the linked podcast now, rather than after my procedure, for reasons that I explain during the interview:

Virginia Giuffre reveals Epstein trafficked her to Andrew. She’s hit by a bus then “commits suicide.”
The interviewer’s mother gets kidnapped and is still being held for ransom.

🍠 “My 87-year-old neighbor just dropped potato wisdom that saved me $200 this year…”
She pulled out a plain cardboard box, sprinkled a handful of baking soda like it was gold dust, and whispered, “This is how we kept potatoes through the whole winter back home — no fridge, no chemicals, no sprouting.”
I thought she was joking… until I tried it.
Old-world potato preservation hack:
1. Place your potatoes in a cardboard box (breathable = key)
2. Generously dust them with baking soda
3. Tuck the box away in a cool, dark place (closet, pantry, under the bed)
4. Watch them stay firm and sprout-free for months
No more mushy potatoes. No more throwing away half the bag. Just simple, forgotten knowledge from a generation that didn’t waste a single thing.
Who else is bringing back grandma’s tricks in 2026? Drop a 🥔 if you’re trying this!
Save this before your next grocery run. Your wallet (and your potatoes) will thank you. ❤️
🚨🇺🇸 ITS OFFICIAL. CONGRESS VOTES TO SPY ON CITIZENS
Rep. Thomas Massie said it plainly on the House floor:
“A short-term infringement of the Constitution is still an infringement of the Constitution.”
Here’s what they just rubber stamped:
• The FBI ran 3.4 MILLION warrantless searches on American citizens in a single year under this program
• It’s been used against protesters, journalists, members of Congress, campaign donors, and a judge who reported police civil rights violations
• There is a secret court ruling from March 2026 describing FBI abuses, that the Trump regime REFUSES to declassify
• Massie warns there are surveillance loopholes so secret he’s “not even allowed to tell you” they exist
Trump spent years screaming FISA needed to be killed because it was used to spy on his own campaign.
Then the Iran war started. Then he signed the extension. Then the Senate passed it unanimously.
This isn’t a left or right issue. Every empire that turns authoritarian builds the surveillance infrastructure first.
They’re not building profiles on terrorists. They’re building profiles on YOU.
Unity is the answer. The truth is, most of us want the same things. To be loved. To take care of our families. To live with peace and dignity. To matter.
Understand that the division of yourself and from others has been forced upon you. We have more in common than we have ever been told.
There's a part of being a dog owner we don't talk about enough. We all know, deep down, that one day the Rainbow Bridge will come into view-but most of us do our best to tuck that thought away, somewhere far in the back of our minds. We focus instead on the wagging tails, the muddy paw prints, the quiet companionship on long days and even longer nights.
That's the trade we make without ever signing a paper.
But when the time comes, and our best friend, our shadow, our loyal partner crosses over, it leaves a space that never quite fills back in. Not really. You can clean up the toys, put away the bowls, even convince yourself you're "moving on," but that silence... it lingers.
That's why getting another dog can feel like such a battle.
It's not about not loving dogs. It's because you loved one so deeply that the thought of walking that road again, knowing exactly how it ends, feels almost too heavy to carry. You remember the last look, the last walk, the last time they rested their head on your knee... and you wonder if your heart can take that kind of goodbye again.
But if there's any truth in all of it, it's this: they were worth it.
Every single moment.
And maybe, just maybe, the reason it hurts so much is because of how much love there was in the first place. 🐶💛
Ruby doesn’t know she was surrendered.
She doesn’t know a decision was made.
She only knows her family disappeared.
A volunteer took her out expecting to comfort a scared dog and ended up sitting on the floor with her while she pressed in close, buried her face, and quietly asked not to be left again.
Ruby is a 1-year-old Shepherd / Belgian Malinois mix. Housebroken. Good with kids. Good with other dogs.
She’s at Cobb County Animal Services in Marietta, GA.
One share can be the difference between another night in a kennel and somebody saying come on girl, let’s go home.
