@Z0ltanNagy@CorsIAQ Please let it be that there should be no indoor air in Hawaii. The climate requires absolutely no indoor AC … just a vestige of all the bad modern architecture. Go read Design with Climate and open some windows.
@NeginNazarian@IAUrbanClimate@ICUC11Sydney So fun to know there is a cute little sensor in there ! Thanks for taking it! Have fun. Very jealous. I’m currently covered in drywall dust not doing nearly enough urban heat sensing.
I love that @SlackHQ kicked my research team off and deleted all my guests and team connections when my credit card number changed... all after ONLY emailing me about the problem - I thought slack let me avoid email... come on guys!
@zippitydodah51@Esqueer_@Target 3. But while I will continue to hate the Buckeyes with a passion, if ever laws or policies that harm buckeye fans were considered, I would root for those buckeye people’s happiness over my irrational ideology.
“Every act of construction is a defiance of nature” - Emilio Ambasz at @PrincetonSoA Kassler lecture. Same day as my construction is celebrated on the home page https://t.co/GuuKDdJV3o. Still couldn’t agree more. Trying to minimize defiance is hard.
to be clear it's not the engineers or the architecta fault, though they could have fought harder against stupidity - it is the project managers and developers that drive a mentality of maximum space and minimal innovation where only first costs matter and on time on budget rules
Sorry @JesseJenkins - even the most efficient buildings have dumb thermostats next to outdoor doors - making this inefficient heater heat this space to 90 degrees while the T-stat set to 70. Better controls such low hanging fruit - for now CHAOS research = turning dumb stuff off
If it weren't for the extreme innovation resistance and risk aversion in the building and construction sector I could make our building have half the emissions and be twice as comfortable. #radiant#heating#thermostat
@StreetArtUtopia I've been looking for this viral video I got during the Bush Jr Election of this contraption and I've never found it again... anyone have the vid of this from ~2000
