A rescue operation is underway after the Tangi River flooded, submerging the Nwoya-Pakwach Road and stranding a taxi with passengers onboard. Unfortunately, two boats capsized during the rescue, however, 03 UNRA Marine personnel, 03 UPDF Marine Personnel, and 06 passengers were rescued from the stuck taxi.
The search for survivors and victims by the Police marines is ongoing.
