A rescue operation is underway after the Tangi River flooded, submerging the Nwoya-Pakwach Road and stranding a taxi with passengers onboard. Unfortunately, two boats capsized during the rescue, however, 03 UNRA Marine personnel, 03 UPDF Marine Personnel, and 06 passengers were rescued from the stuck taxi.

The search for survivors and victims by the Police marines is ongoing.

This afternoon, I had the privilege of watching the Uganda Cranes during their final training session at Namboole ahead of tomorrow’s game against South Africa. Based on what I observed, I am confident that our boys will make us proud, as they always do!
