Hey, I'm Seth. I'm an automation consultant, and I spend my days figuring out why businesses do things the hard way and then making them stop. Texas. Dad. Love gaming. Occasionally right about things.
A few things I've learned:
Not surprised by the Tailwind news. Free framework, revenue from templates. But templates are getting commoditized fast... AI generates them, open source libraries are everywhere. Tough spot when your product is free and your business model is getting undercut.
@OmriBuilds I think most people don't pay to solve problems per se... They pay to make problems go away. Sounds the same but it's not... one is logical, the other is emotional.
@SnapBlastPLAY It's a shame what happened to Xbox since the 360, but I've always been with them. I genuinely think the Series X is a masterpiece of a console.
You can vibe-code something that works. Enterprise is a different bar though... it's not just features, it's compliance, security, reliability, and all the boring stuff that doesn't fit in a demo video. Also, enterprise clients aren't just buying software, they're buying trust. That's harder to vibe-code.
@ujjwalscript Mostly agree but '0 meetings' is doing a lot of heavy lifting here. The freelancers who actually make this work spend a lot of time on communication and understanding the problem. That's not really overhead... it's the job.
@OmriBuilds The stuff that doesn't look like an asset. Relationships, timing, the thousand small decisions that got you here. You can copy a product. You can't copy the context that made it work.
