GUEST LECTURE: The current selective administration of justice and the uneven application of judicial power raise fundamental concerns about the integrity of our justice system. At the heart of this issue lies the critical question: Where does the @JSCUganda stand?
The JSC is constitutionally mandated to uphold accountability within the judiciary, including receiving and acting upon public complaints. Yet, the current state of affairs suggests a worrying trend — judicial officers no longer seem to fear the consequences of misconduct. The Commission, once perceived as a firm guardian of judicial integrity, appears to have lost its bite.
