The lone juror who refused to acquit Lindsay Clancy was a black man and he was bullied by 11 other white libs on the jury.
Thank God he stood his ground.

After watching Mike Nawrocki and Phil Vischer lose ultimate creative control of VeggieTales, I wanted this project to be different. With The Dead Sea Squirrels, Mike gets to remain the boss and have the final say.
Why? Because parents trust Mike and so do I. 🐿️
Watch The Dead Sea Squirrels exclusively on Minno!
@Sofia50020Sofia Based on the gas price, it was late 70’s or 1980… I paid 99 cents the first time I bought gas with “my own money” in Central Arkansas.
Matthew 9:21 speaks of a woman who just touched the hem of Jesus' garment and was healed.
Know that HE is near you... Reach out to HIM and he can make you whole!!!
Thanks @Russtaff1

Blast from the past
Very first pic of me as a member of Journey in 1981 at Bammy awards in San Francisco-we played The Party’s Over that evening at Bill Graham Civic.
The Guys have done it again. Even with all the disgust I feel from the liars, the deceptive political maneuvers in our view, and the struggles that cause me hurt, I must say I agree!

How’s your summer? Mine’s got a new soundtrack. And yes, I’m able to be 100% objective here: Dave Perkins has made five previous albums, and I liked ‘em all… but this one is his masterpiece.
It’s titled Powderhead, it combines Dave’s Southern Gothic obsessions with his most accomplished songwriting to date, and his vocals have never been more expressive and soulful. My first listen was out of a sense of duty. But all the repeat listens since have been as a true fan.
Don’t make me list my favorites — I’ve got too many, and every track belongs.
Okay, if I must: “Hole” is the suitably dark invocation of what’s to come. “Tell Daddy” is the best Dylan ballad Dylan never wrote. “Disturbator” is Dave at his lyrical, groovy best; and if you needed reminding that nobody plays guitar like Dave Perkins, take a listen to “The Line.” “True Fan” is a rave-up celebration of the enthusiasts and obsessives who make projects like these possible. “Trouble’s On The Run” is a wistful outlaw lullaby. “Journey to the End of the Night” is a mission statement you can dance to. And “Hero’s Wine” is Powderhead’s worthy benediction.
The album also features a cover painting by the artist that perfectly encapsulates the contents in a single, haunting face.
I’m writing because the project has seven days left on Kickstarter, and I don’t think it’s gonna make its goal without an urgent transfusion of backers. Back in the day when we shared a band, one of our recurring arguments was this: Dave was suspicious of marketing in general and self-promotion in particular, thinking it… maybe a little needy and undignified? And while I didn’t necessarily disagree with the sentiment, I’ve always seen it as part of the job.
True to form, this particular masterpiece of an album lacks a carnival barker, which strikes me as an odd omission since it was Flannery O’Connor herself who said, “To the hard of hearing you shout…” My friend Tom Gulotta — one of the most generous souls I know — took on the task of gathering together all the elements needed to launch this Kickstarter so that Dave could remain where he likes to be — somewhere in the shadows. And even though Dave would never ask me to, I feel the need to pick up the megaphone, because the album is that good.
When I was a boy, my dad liked to quote this verse to me from Hebrew 6:11, “For whom the Lord loves he chastens.” If that’s the case, the Lord must love Dave a lot, because he’s experienced more than his share of hardships over the decades. The tapes for this album got rescued from the January fire that burned the Perkins’ house down. I’m gonna consider that a miracle of divine intervention, which means that if you back this project on Kickstarter, I believe you’re doing the Lord’s work.
With love and gratitude,
Steve
@bennyjohnson It is not Allegence… It is “enter at your own risk”. . Traveling to another country, a USCitizen should understand and ask themselves “what is the worst thing that can happen to me and can I afford to pay my way out of it?” Outside of these borders, you aren’t promised anything
Where do the judgemental miseries get the idea that some hidden, abusive hand is “trotting out” these artists?
Doing this is their passion, their whole life… it’s what keeps them going. Take it away from them and they would deteriorate rapidly.
Leave them alone and let them live their lives to the full… nobody is forcing you to listen, if you don’t want to.
This is beautiful 😍
ALERT: In a major development, the U.S. Supreme Court has indicated it will invalidate state laws that allow ballots to be counted after Election Day.
Justice Alito pointed out that it's called “Election DAY” for a reason.
