Every pupil looks forward to the weekend but guess who would have lost sense of time or anything. The children abducted in Oyo, Borno & Kogi. It’s sad, it’s unfair and it’s disheartening. We don’t even know the current status of the situation.

Some are dead.
Others have spent birthdays in the bush.
Children celebrated Children's Day as captives while those in power carried on as usual.
Their mates are currently on Mid-Term break while they are in the bush. God why 💔

If these were the children of politicians, would we still be counting days?

Every passing day is an indictment of a system that has failed to protect its most vulnerable citizens.

Who is being held accountable?
And why are we acting like this is normal?

Today marks another day of comfort for many, while a group of children, significantly younger, have endured 34 days in the forest, exposed to rain, without adequate clothing, nutrition, hygiene, or sanitary provisions for the young women among them. Just pure suffer from a government that enjoys hardship allowance. It takes nothing but humanity to keep retweeting and keeping the momentum until these kids are released. It takes absolutely NOTHING
