@PennStatePRSSA Thank you so much for including me as a panelist! I loved sharing my thoughts on this topic because it is so important for us as communications professionals to talk about and normalize! Have a great night everyone ☺️💙 #PRSSAForAll
@PennStatePRSSA A6- It is important for comm professionals and students to check in on each other.🤗 Ask how your colleagues or peers are doing often. Hold each other accountable to take breaks throughout the day. And, if you can take on more, offer help to a colleague or peer. #PRSSAForAll
@PennStatePRSSA A4- On days I’m super busy, making time for myself sometimes means psychically scheduling in an hour to cook myself a healthy meal, go for a walk or just sit and read.📖 I think this part of my day is essential, so I will always work it in no matter how busy I am. #PRSSAForAll
@PennStatePRSSA A2- Know when to step back if you’re feeling stressed.😰 There is a positive, productive kind of stress and there is a negative, debilitating kind of stress. There is a thin line between the two, so know when it is crossed and when it is time to take a break. #PRSSAForAll
@PennStatePRSSA A1- Work-life balance is so important and I think it is attainable. I attain work-life balance by making time for myself every day. Some days this is harder than others. I also push myself to finish my work early so I always have nights and Saturdays to myself.💆♀️ #PRSSAForAll
